Durant l’any 1993 vaig ingressar a la Facultat de Belles Arts de Santiago de Xile. L’escultura i el volum em van provocar una forta atracció, però la major satisfacció la vaig trobar en l’àrea cromàtica. Així vaig a arribar a la pintura, disciplina que em va permetre desenvolupar el sentit compositiu bidimensional. Amb l'arribada a Catalunya, ja fan set anys, vaig a començar una investigació pictòrica centrada en l’austeritat de colors i d’informació visual.
